Most couples book their wedding band 4 to 8 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (November to February) and popular cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, and Goa. Fernandes Music takes a 50% advance to lock in your date, so earlier booking gives you a better chance at your preferred lineup.

A live band brings real time energy, vocal harmonies, and the ability to read and respond to the crowd in a way a DJ set can't replicate. Many couples choose a band for the ceremony, cocktail hour, or first dance, and a DJ for late night dancing, or a band that covers both. Fernandes Music performs original arrangements of popular songs across genres, so you get live band energy without losing the hits guests want to dance to.

Yes, we take requests, but we prefer to get them ahead of time. We share a proposed set list with you in advance and gather your requests from there. If we get your requests early enough, we might even be able to add songs we don't already know to our set.

Yes, we regularly travel for destination weddings. Fernandes Music performs across India, including Bangalore, Kerala, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai, as well as international locations like Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Dubai.

We don't provide sound equipment directly, but we work with trusted sound suppliers and emcees we've partnered with many times and are happy to refer. If you already have a sound provider in mind, we can share our tech rider with them.

Booking is simple: share your event details, choose a lineup, and pay 50% advance to confirm your date. The remaining balance is due after the event.
